Kodi is an open-source media center, better than any windows media center. It works best on Android, Windows PC’s, Apple iPhones, Linux. You can view your photos, videos, movies, TV shows, music. You can stream stuff, you can watch and listen to podcasts, you can play games on it. Almost you can do everything with this software. Kodi is the most famous media player and probably PS4 is the most highly popular gaming console used by many numbers of users in the worldwide. You can easily connect PS4 with a monitor to play an HD quality games on it. Here is the working guide to sideload Kodi on PS4.
In the previous article, we gave a lot of information about Kodi and how to install it on Firestick. In today’s article, I’ll let you know detailed information about Installing Kodi on Android device. The first thing we need to do in order to install Kodi is to actually allow for sideloading.
- Select Settings -> About Phone -> Build Number.
- Tap on Build Number 7 times.
- Then it shows you a notification that “You are a Developer”.
- Go to Security -> Unknown Sources (turn on).
- It will allow you to install apps from Unknown Sources. It will show you a warning.
- Click OK.
How to Install Kodi On Android?
In order to install Kodi, Go to Web Browser and open Kodi or click on this link. On the homepage, you’ll find a Download option.
On the Download page, scroll down you will find “Development builds: Kodiv17.0 “Krypton” early access” there you will choose Android.
In the Android, you’ll find 32bit and 64bit versions, Choose the options depending on your version. Then it will start Download. Once it is downloaded, go to the file right there and click on it. It will open Installation Wizard.
If you click on install it will start the installation process. After installation is done, click on open.
This is how it looks like after Installation.
This is the interface for Krypton. If you have your own individual add-on simply go ahead and start adding them on right now.
How to install Custom build?
If you install Custom build, it will give all the add-ons you need. This is so simple, Just go to Settings.
Go to Settings -> System Settings -> Add-ons -> Unknown Sources.
This will allow you to install third-party add-ons to Kodi System.
You will get a warning message. Click Yes and go ahead.
Again go back to Settings -> File Manager -> Add Source.
In the Add, Source clicks on None. There you can type the address to a repo.
This is repo address what we want as you see in the image. Go ahead and click OK.
Then Go ahead and rename then click OK. Now, you have added this source.
Go back to the homepage and at the top, you’ll find an icon similar to Dropbox. Click on it. It will take you to the Add-ons page. Click on echo. There you can choose the first option.
There you’ll see Add-on enabled. Go back and click on Install from repository -> Echo repository -> Program Add-on -> Echo Wizard. It will show you install button and click OK.
Once it is finished Downloading, go back again to the homepage.
Go to Program Add-ons -> Echo Wizard -> Community Builds.
It starts downloading the information all we want and will show the various Community Bills.
Click on 1st one, it’ll open and scroll down. Go ahead and click to get back button.
It will show you “Ultra TT Krypton – Downloads”, Tap on it to open.
Click on Download the Build Now. It will Download and Install the build.
Once it is finished, click OK.
It will ask you to close Kodi, click on yes.
Now go to your phone home screen, go to apps -> Kodi.
If you open up, it will not only open Kodi, but you have Kodi with a Custom Build. There you will see a lot of add-ons.
